August 28 - September 2, 2023 with Diamond Tours
And we're off to upper Michigan to our destination on the beautiful, peaceful Mackinac Island. We arrive in the area at the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse for a tour. Then we'll enjoy some free time at Mackinaw Crossings followed by a visit to Colonial Michilimackinac - a 1700's era Village. We check into our Mackinaw City area hotel for the next 3 nights. Tomorrow we'll head to Ste. Sault Marie for an exciting cruise through the Soo Locks. Lunch & free time follows the cruise and then we enjoy a visit to the Tower of History. The next day, we ferry over to Mackinac Island where you'll enjoy a leisurely Carriage Ride Tour and learn about the Island. Then we'll be seated for a delicious Lunch Buffet at the Grand Hotel! Here you'll find more choices than you could even dream of. Afterward, you'll have time to relax and find a rocking chair on the porch and watch the beautiful Lake view from your chair. Evening has us ferrying back to the mainland. Morning has us checking out and enjoying a guided tour of Mackinaw City before we depart for our en route hotel for the evening. Our final day is a travel day home.
