We've got a great garden trip planned for you in St. Louis. Upon arrival we pick up our Step-on Guide for an afternoon exploring the gems of St. Louis City. Enjoy a driving tour of Forest Park, home to the 1904 World's Fair. We'll visit the Jewel Box, a display greenhouse. Here, permanent floral displays are supplemented with season flowers from the city's greenhouses and a volunteer gardening group. Our drive continues through Tower Grove Park where more than 8,000 trees and shrubs were imported from around the world. We check into our hotel for the next 2 nights and enjoy dinner at Favazza's Restaurant. Guided visit the Missouri Botanical Garden and a walking tour of Bellefontaine Cemetery & Arboretum focusing on the trees, shrubs and flowering plants. Tonight is free to rest & relax after our full day touring. Our final day, we step back in time by entering the Lafayette Square Neighborhood. Victorian homessurround the park. Enjoy a stop at their community garden. Then we'll enjoy the famous Soulard Farmer's Market - America's oldest continuously operating public market. Our final stop will be at Bowood Farms for some shopping time.
