Our travels take us through Huntington, West Virginia and into Newport News, Virginia where we'll enjoy a BBQ Dinner Buffet and check into our hotel. The next morning we check out and enjoy a Victory Rover Navy Base Cruise with the Captains expert commentary while cruising the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River. Then we're off to The Outer Banks for the next 4 nights. Our day begins with a visit to the Wright Brothers Memorial, Jockey's State Park Dunes, The Currituck Beach Lighthouse and the Whalehead Club before enjoying dinner & wine tasting. The following day we're off for a Cape Hatteras National Seashore tour. We'll also visit the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and see the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse for a tour. Our next stop will be a North Carolina Oyster Tasting and Farm for a tour. We'll make a stop at the Chicamacomico Life Saving Station and The Bodie Island Lighthouse. The next morning we're off for a visit to Fort Raleigh Nat'l Historic Site, Elizabethan Gardens, the Island Farm, Roanoke Island Festival Park, and the Outer Banks Distillery Tasting spot. After all our touring, we depart towards home making stops along the way to overnight.
