Our adventure begins the moment we step on the bus and head north to Door County - the "Cape Cod of the Midwest"! Upon arrival we check into the Open Hearth Lodge for the next 3 nights. While here we'll visit beautiful Washington Island and hear stories and tales of the surrounding waters of the island, the light keepers and the settlers. Then we'll enjoy a Fish Boil at the Old Post Office Restaurant followed by a private concert by Katie Dahl. Tomorrow we start off at Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant for a delicious breakfast. Our day continues exploring more of Door County and then to Peninsula State Park to tour Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. You'll even have time to get in a little shopping in Fish Creek. Our final day has us making a stop at Cave Point County Park and then Renard's Cheese Shop. We make one last stop in Historic Cedarburg before returning home for the evening.
