We depart for a great trip to historic San Antonio, Texas! As we travel we'll see the Arkansas Arts Center en route to San Antonio. Once in San Antonio, we check into our San Antonio area hotel for the next 4 nights. San Antonio is known for being the Home of the Alamo! While here we'll enjoy a guided tour of San Antonio including the San Fernando Cathedral, the King William Historical District and El Mercado - an area patterned after an authentic Mexican market. In the afternoon we'll visit the Institute of Texan Cultures. After dinner, you'll go to the River Walk for a Scenic Cruise. The next day we depart for Fredericksburg - Jewel of the Texas Hill Country. Visit the Nat'l Museum of the Pacific War and then head to the Lyndon B. Johnson Nat'l Historic Park for a tour where you'll see the Texas White House. Day #6 we see the San Antonio Missions and enjoy an IMAX Presentation - "Alamo - The Price of Freedom". Day #7 we depart for Waco, Texas and visit Magnolia Market at the Silos before checking into our en route hotel. As we travel home, we make a stop at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library for a tour.
