Today we travel to Rockford, Illinois - home to Anderson Japanese Gardens & the Laurent House for tours. The Anderson Gardens are in a 13th-Century "pond strolling" garden with several waterfalls, ponds, streams, rock formations and winding paths. The Laurent House is a Frank Lloyd Wright building that was built for a person with a disability. The single-story Usonian home is a rare design featuring a solar hemicycle footprint and is considered one of the most well-preserved Wright homes in existence. Lunch is also included while here today.
